This Long-term Contract position is well suited for someone with hands-on experience handling individual tax returns accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with Lacerte tax software and can manage deadlines while maintaining a high standard of compliance and client service.Responsibilities:• Prepare individual income tax returns with accuracy, completeness, and attention to applicable tax rules.• Review financial and tax-related documents to gather the information needed for timely personal return filings.• Use Lacerte tax software to enter data, calculate tax positions, and finalize return documentation.• Identify missing, inconsistent, or unclear client information and follow up to resolve issues before submission.• Maintain organized tax files and supporting records in accordance with internal and regulatory standards.• Communicate with team members as needed to clarify return details and keep preparation work on schedule.• Monitor filing deadlines and prioritize workload to ensure returns are completed within required timeframes.
